At Brunswick, the unique core shape of each individual bowling ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range. At 12 and 13 pounds, Brunswick uses a generic core shape with a RG-differential that is close enough to the 14 to 16 pound shape so the same drilling instructions can be used.
Brunswick’s International Series has been developed specifically for Asian markets using core and coverstock systems that provide bowlers with a range of equipment that matches up to typical Asian lane conditions. The looks of International Series bowling balls are also adapted to Asian tastes making the International Series completely customized for Asian bowlers.
The Rip Zone combines a pearlized Activator coverstock, finished with high gloss polish, and a modified Inferno® core shape to create a bowling ball with mid-lane recovery, back-end forgiveness and plenty of hook potential. The pearl additive helps create more length and saves hooking action for the back-ends. The pearl Activator coverstock combined with high gloss polish provides a great balance to rip through today’s demanding international lane conditions.
With its Factory High Gloss Finish, the Rip Zone is an ideal bowling ball for medium to medium-oily lane conditions.
